Results: Indoor Meet March 9, 2012
Track Results: The track teams closed out the indoor portion of the season with some great performances. Sarah Curci was a double winner taking the 3200 run in 11:19 and the 1600 run in 5:23 a very impressive double. Carah Alexander won the 55 dash and was 3rd in the 400, Gabby DeMaio won the long jump and was 2nd in the 55 and the 200. Katelyn Suchyta was 3rd in the 1600 with another PR of 5:45. The 4 x 200 relay was 2nd as Leslie Kamel, Gabby DeMaio, Sally Ladsaria and Carah Alexander carried the baton. Sally also took 4th in the triple jump. Adam Picker was 3rd in the boys 200 while Bolu Johnson finished 4th in the 400 and was a member of the 4 x 800 team that took 2nd. Andrew Palmer, Max Volchenbaum, and Jason Deng also ran on that relay. Nathan Eckstein took a 4th in the triple jump in his very first meet. The Teams run again at Timothy Christian the first week of April after the break.

Andrew Palmer Selected Illinois Academic All-State Honorable Mention Team
FINAL INDOOR MEET this FRIDAY MARCH 9
The final indoor meet of the season will be held this Friday at Henry Crown Field House. U HIGH will face Latin, Mather, St Ignatius and Jones in a very competitive meet. U High will swing into the outdoor season after spring break when they travel to Timothy Christian on Wed. April 4th. The Maroons were slated to participate in the Homewood-Flossmoor Girls Invitational on Saturday April 7th but will not due to the Jewish Passover Holiday and the Christian celebration of Easter. They will travel to Luther North on the following Tuesday April 10th for a co-ed meet.

Track Results: Teams The U High track team did a great job at the meet on Friday. Sarah Curci was the standout winning both the 800 and 1600 runs. Bolu Johnson won the 200 , The teams finish up the indoor season on Fricday night at home March 9th.
