Luther North Results
The boys and girls track teams both took 1st out of 6 schools at the Luther North Invitational on Tuesday. Winning events for U High were Michael Shapiro in the 3200 run, Adrian Aldana in the 100 dash, Robert Meyer in the 800 and 1600, Justin Algee in the high jump, the 4 x 400 and 4 x 200 relays . Sherry Fu in the 800 run, Catherine Yunis in the 400, Aoife MacMahon in the 1600 and the 4 x 400 relay. U High runs again on Saturday with the boys at HF Invitational and then the girls run at St Ignatius next Wed. Both teams will run at the Ridgewood Relays next Friday.

Mather Invitational
The boys track team finished 11th of 20+ schools while the girls finished 8th overall at the Mather Invitational on Sat. April 3rd at North Park University. The meet had 4 climate changes during the very long day. Emma Davis was the 800 meter champ in the girls meet running away from a very strong field despite the 30+ mph winds. Emma was the only U High athlete to win a race at this meet. Our next meet is HF girls invitational this Saturday followed by the Luther North Meet on Tuesday the 13th of April. Great job to everyone.
