KEVIN BRUNKE IS THE TURKEY TROT WINNER!

Kevin Brunke was the surprise winner of today's Turkey Trot Grand Prize, a 12.04 lbs. Turkey. After winning Kevin had lengthy remarks in front of a record crowd. The real question is what did Kevin's Mom say when he took the frozen bird home on the train? Feel free to answer that in our new poll. The races were won by Ben Jurisson-800 and the mile while Donald Traubert and Max Wagner tied in the 1 and 1/2 mile. Emily Kuo won the 800 and the mile while Josey Mintel won the 1 and 1/2 mile! They all got double entries into the drawing but the odds didn't help them as Kevin won the turkey!

Pick one of the low mile days to take off each week if you want to. Do the workout on a day that works for you. It might be good to do on Tuesdays as you get out of school earlier. It would also work on Friday. Don’t be too worried about times when you do the workouts. Effort is what you want. Be sure to dress according to the weather and also check the wind to decide which way to go when you run. Start into the wind and come back with it so you do not get too cold after you sweat. Layer your clothing and always wear something on your head as you lose heat there first. Watch for ice and snow be careful ! Wear light colored or reflective clothing if it is getting dark or in the dark. BE CAREFUL!
